A Different Kind
of Omakase

Kappo means ‘cut and cook’. Unlike conventional sushi-focused omakase, more than 90% of each TAKEEN menu is thoughtfully cooked: grilled, steamed, braised and simmered through refined techniques that reveal deeper flavours, textures and aromas. Every dish is prepared before your eyes at the counter, where craftsmanship, storytelling and hospitality come together.

Thoughtfully
Curated Pairings

Every exceptional course deserves its counterpart. Explore a cellar of premium sake, wines, whisky and Japanese spirits, personally selected by Chef Thomas to accompany each menu. Our signature house-made umeshu, crafted from hand-picked seasonal plums, offers a uniquely refreshing close to the evening.
